Python Job: DevOps Engineer

Remote or Hybrid

Work on the next generation of medical devices for chronic disease management based on machine vision systems, novel sensing arrays, and state-of-the-art cloud-based technologies.

The DevOps engineer will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the engineering internal developer platform while developing and improving current and future internal tools and processes.

You will have strong automation experience and hands-on cloud implementation experience. Experience of Google Cloud Platform is a distinct advantage but not essential.
Responsibilities
· Set up and manage cloud projects, accounts, and roles management

· Support the manufacturing team with automation and scripting tasks

· Assists in continuous integration, rapid deployment, and testing of software for both infrastructure and product use.

· Contributes and improves continuous delivery of software.

· Collaborates and communicates closely with teams to provide solutions to infrastructure and software engineering tasks.

· Supports DevOps projects and software in production environments.

· Clearly documents all DevOps projects and environments.

· System troubleshooting and problem solving across platforms and applications.

· Integrate, configure, deploy, and manage centrally provided common cloud services (e.g., IAM, networking, logging, Operating systems, Containers.)

· Engineer solutions on GCP foundation platform using Infrastructure as Code methods (e.g., Terraform)

· Ensure compliance with centrally defined Security

· Ensure compliance with Operational risk standards (E.g., Network, Firewall, OS, Logging, Monitoring, Availability, Resiliency)

· Providing impact assessments when requested for changes proposed on GCP infrastructure.

· Support development teams CI/CD requirements
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
· Experience in Python or JavaScript or Unix shell scripting

· Strong scripting, API, and automation skills.

· A solid understanding of Network and Security best practices

· Good understanding of modern software deployment methodology

· Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery - Gitlab pipelines

· Experience with Unix and/or Windows operating systems

· Good understanding of one or more modern version control systems such as GitHub or GitLab.

· Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform is a plus.

Salary: €60,000.00-€75,000.00 per year
